Dr. Rahn is an Ohio native. He attended the Ohio State University for both his undergraduate and his optometric education. In 1977, he received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Ohio State University College of Optometry. Following graduation, he opened Rahn Eyecare Center and in 1991 moved to its current location on Cinema Drive to better serve his growing patient base. He enjoys getting to know each patient and their families. He spends signficant time with each person to make sure the best vision and eye health recommendations are rendered. He is a member of the American and Ohio Optometric Associations, as well as the Cincinnati Optometric Association, where he has served in the past as president. Dr. Rahn is married with two adult daughters, Kim and Kelly. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, church activities, spending time with his wife, Barb, and visting his daughters.
Dr. Malof was raised in the Cincinnati area. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1984. He attended the Indiana University School of Optometry where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1988. Following graduation, he worked at MacGregor Medical Association in Houston, Texas where he gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease and medical co-management with other physicians on staff. He returned to Ohio in 1994 and one year later joined the team at Rahn Eyecare Center. His interests include primary eye care, contact lenses, and ocular disease diagnosis and management. He enjoys the ability to spend ample time with each patient to get to know their specific visual and eye health concerns. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association and Cincinnati Optometric Association. Outside the office, he plays a number of musical insturments and enjoys running and fitness. He is married and has two daughters.
